4. Choose Treatment Distance
Options such as Direct Skin Contact, 1-inch, 6-inches, etc. let you account for how much light intensity drops over distance.
Light disperses as it travels away from the skin, meaning the further the distance, the longer the treatment time required to achieve the same dose.
5. Calculate Treatment Dose

How It Works:
The calculator uses the standard photobiomodulation equation:
Formula: Fluence (J/cm²) = Irradiance (mW/cm²) × Time (seconds) ÷ 1000
This converts light power and exposure time into total delivered energy.
