How to Use Your Light Therapy Cap: Simple Steps for Optimal Results
Using your Red, Blue & Near-Infrared Light Therapy Cap is incredibly simple, making light therapy at home accessible to everyone. For best results, ensure your naked skin, scalp, and hair are clean and free of products before each sessions.
1. Preparation: Plug the into an AC socket or connect it to a power bank (not included) via the USB cable. The dual buttons will illuminate cyan (blue colour).
2. Power On: Press the power button once to turn on the device.. It will start at the lowest brightness level (50%).
3. Wavelength Selection:
-
- Press the power button quickly once for Red LEDs (670nm) only.
- Press again for Red LEDs (670nm) and Near-Infrared LED (810nm).
- Press once more for all LEDs (450nm, 670nm, 810nm). Remember NIR/810nm is invisible/colourless.
- Press again to turn all LEDs off.
4. Pulse Mode: For pulse mode 10Hz, press the power button for more than 3 seconds until the power button illuminates Blue. Then, similar to above, quick presses will cycle through Red only, Red+NIR, and All LEDs in pulse mode.
5. Dimmable Light Intensity/Brightness: Adjust brightness (50%, 75%, 100%) using the other button. We suggest the highest level for winter and lowest for summer.
6. Usage: For optimal hair growth and brain benefits, place the cap directly on your head, 0 inches for best results. Use 1-2 times per day for at least 4 weeks. Each session automatically last 15 minutes. Allow the device to cool for a few minutes between treatments.
7. Storage: Unplug and store in a cool, dry area.
Product Maintenance: Keeping Your Cap Clean
Maintaining your light therapy device is easy. We recommend using a damp towel to gentle clean the fabric portion of the cap. Always ensure the device is unplugged and cords are disconnected before cleaning. Do not submerge the cap in water or directly clean the LED diodes. Allow the cap to air dry and keep it out of direct sunlight.
